Absolutely gorgeous! The Boston Maroon on this airplane is almost like a Black Cherry- offset with the Dakota Black and Metallic Silver it's on e of the best looking Huskies out there1
It's equipped with a Garmin G500 PFD/MFD system powered by the Garmin 430W and a 330 transponder with TIS. it is the most cost-effective glass panel of all the combinations offered by Aviat for factory installation. It will be one of the very last 430-powered G500 panels available- after Garmin's stock of 430's is GONE THERE WILL BE NO MORE and it will be replaced by the GTN750- a fine unit and a great upgrade- but also $35,000 more expensive. Having flown behind the 430/G500&G600 combo since its introduction in 2009, It is a terrific combo. The G500 package offers the most space for long-legged pilots of any Husky instrument panel, with over ½” extra knee clearance under the panel and almost 2 FULL INCHES of extra knee room under the prop and mixture controls.
This is one of the very first Huskies to be delivered with the brand new digital Mid-Continent MD302 Standby Attitude Module (SAM), which takes the place of the 3 individual standby gauges from the top of the panel AND the standby attitude indicator battery previously located under the rear seat. It weighs only 1.6 lbs. For more information on the "SAM" go to flysam.com
We've installed a Reiff engine heater and LED Strobes & Nav Lights to go with the LED Landing/Taxi Lights for those who live in the more "northern" climate of our territory.. The new 80" composite Hartzell "Trailblazer" prop is lightweight and high thrust- shortening the takeoff roll by over 100' compared to the standard 76" prop in FAA testing. We can advise you on the best tire combo for your particular situation. 593MA also has 26" Goodyear Tundra's and standard tailwheel which are perfect for pavement and normal grass/dirt runway use.
It also features the MVP-50 All-in-one Engine Monitor system taking the place of the Electronics Instruments EDM-930. The MVP-50 features checklists, a weight & balance screen- literally more features than you will probably ever use. Also standard is the 2250 lb. GTOW (up from 2200 for the non-shock A-1C’s) giving this 180HP Husky a useful load of 875 lbs as-equipped.
