AIRCRAFT HISTORY
Aircraft was sold New in 1982 and exported to Canada from Wichita. Logs have original Export C.of A. This aircraft was leased to, or owned by, two different operators 1982 to 1986. In 1986 the aircraft was sold to and used for personal pleasure by a Toronto businessman. I bought this aircraft from him January 2002, exported the aircraft back to the United States and cancelled the Canadian Registration C-GISN. I had it Registered as N-103RA with a new U.S.A. Certificate of Air Worthiness issued. During the next few years I had new Garmin and Rebuilt King Avionics installed. All instruments overhauled. Edo 3430 Floats with hatches overhauled Spring of 2004. Atlee Dodge 206 Ladder installed. The Engine overhauled by Popular Grove Airomotive to Factory New Specifications, spring of 2004, New Millennium Cylinders, New Camshaft and Lifters, Fuel System overhauled, and all new Hoses. All AD's and Service Bulletins complied with. Complete Logs including the Canadian Journey Log, which I have continued. The Journey Log has a record of every flight that this aircraft has made.
AIRCRAFT CONDITION
This aircraft is in excellent no damage history condition. It has generally been used on floats in the summer time in lower Ontario, Canada. In the winter the aircraft has been properly prepared for long-term storage and stored inside. The paint is in fair condition with a repaint of the vertical stabilizer and under the left wing to cover the removed Canadian Registration. The interior upholstery is excellent. Carpeting is only fair. The headliner is good. The oxygen system has been removed, not needed in float operation and a savings of 36 pounds. Avionics is very complete, newer, and certified IFR. The engine had a first time overhaul, with VAR crank that has standard journals, new cam, and Millennium cylinders. This aircraft has been owned and maintained with pride and is an excellent flying load carrying airplane / floatplane. |
