- The M20J 201 was in full production when this plane was built. As a result, the 78 M20C had a lot of the nice features of the 201, as they used the parts across models. A Modern Panel and Glareshield. Strip Gauges vs. the old style cluster gauge. New style yokes. Modern Circuit Breakers and Switches vs. the old style breakers and toggles. If you tried to take an older C and just upgrade those items, you would wind up spending tons of money.
- ***Note: we are pricing the plane well below book due to the cosmetics. The stripes are wearing thin. We are going to try to sell it to someone who can live with the current look, who doesn’t have to have it all dolled up. However, after a few weeks, if we don’t have a deal, we are going to take it to the paint shop and have it stripped and repainted, and we will price it up appropriately.
