  • 1997: Prop Strikes Due to Nose Gear Collapse. Repairs Documented.


  • N2HS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • 2009: Right Engine: #6 cylinder replaced with overhauled assembly due to cracks. #3 & #5 cylinders replaced with serviceable assemblies, new gaskets, new seals, and new rings from TRIAD ENGINES. New Gill aircraft battery installed.
  • 2008: All flexible fluid hoses replaced.
  • 2007: Installed overhauled alternator on right engine.
  • 2006: Merlyn Automatic Waste Gate Conversion. New turbocharger installed on right engine.
  • Left engine overhauled to manufacturers manual new limits by TRIAD ENGINES due to cylinder pre-detonation. Cost: $29,215. Cam reconditioned. Magnetos, fuel pump assembly, and fuel injector system rebuilt. New TCM cylinders, new Lamar starter, and new connecting rods installed. The counterweights were magna-fluxed, re-bushed & inspected. The crankshaft, alternator, turbo, over boost valve, oil cooler, and exhaust system were overhauled.
  • 1997: Botched landing resulting in nose gear collapse and prop strikes. Location: Stuart, FL.
  • Repairs by Stuart Jet Center, Stuart, FL completed FEB 1998 at 3309.5-TT.
  • Nose gear mount overhauled. Top fuselage skin and top instrument panel skins prepped, painted and replaced. Glass shields area recovered with black vinyl. Bent axle and thru bolt replaced. Installed new frame assembly at station 49.5, new right hand windshield, new fabricated hydraulic lines, used/serviceable nose gear bungee assembly, new nose wheel assembly, new brake reservoir, and new trim panels. All hydraulics, electrical, and avionics reconnected using new clamps and hardware. Props overhauled by Palm Beach Propeller. Left Prop received new blades, Right prop blades repaired. Engines removed for sudden stoppage - inspected and reinstalled by K-Aero, Inc.
  • Repairs by FAA CRS K-Aero, Inc. of Stuart, FL.
  • Left engine Turbo and turbine scroll inspected. Replaced engine mount, fuel vapor, parting surface gasket, and overboard exhaust tail pipe clamp (with used/serviceable Mormon clamp). Corrosion treated on surface of turbo. Installed used/serviceable fuel vapor return line from fuel pump to baffle and fabricated manifold drain lines. Returned starter cable at starter; New terminal end installed. Rebuilt, reinstalled, and resealed turbo oil supply inlet fittings. Mixture control cable repaired at fuel pump. Top overhaul at 3309.5 Tach.
  • Right engine Turbo and turbine scroll inspected, surface of turbo treated for corrosion, Replaced parting surface gasket and overboard exhaust tail pipe clamp (with used/serviceable Mormon clamp), installed used/serviceable fuel vapor return line from fuel pump to baffle and fabricated manifold drain lines. ENGINE OVERHAUL at 3279 tach.


  • 1990: Both windshields replaced.
  • 1985: Aircraft hydroplaned off departure end of runway due to heavy rain. Wings & nose repaired with factory new parts. Repairs by Wiggins Airways of Norwood, MA, FAA CRS 171.
  • Right engine overhauled by Mattituck installed at 2062 Tach.
