GARRETT TPE331-2-201A SUPER TURBOPROP ENGINE W 110 HOURS SINCE GEARBOX AND HOT SECTION INSPECTION. 3540 HOURS SINCE OVERHAUL. SUPER 2 is a -2 engine that has been fitted with a bigger compressor section (the size of a -5 engine). The gearbox and turbine section are still the size of a normal -2. This results in the compressor being able to draw more horsepower (840 horses), where a normal -2 compressor can only draw 715 horses. This keeps the engine running cooler and it is easier to maintain 715 horses even at high altitudes.
