The aircraft had been in long term storage and donated to Andrews University for a tax break. Andrews has a complete aviation program for pilots, A&P school, and aviation business majors along with a full University program. The aviation programs have been in business for at least the thirty five years I have known them. Prop strike recent w/ lower cowl replaced, R wing repair by Williams (5-2000 part of restoration), floor board repair 1963, never wrecked. On strike inspection of the engine by G & N, they decided to completely overhaul the bottom ($14,000.00). Some early airframe logs missing, 337’s s/new intact. FAA profile shows no major damage, all the owners, 337’s & STC’s on file plus a current title search.
