Overall pale moondust with brown major acxcent and orange minor accent in traditional 182 Skylane scheme. Overall rated 8 out of 10.


Mostly original but in very good condition. Tan and brown, cream headliner that looks more recent that 1967. Seats are good under the sheepskins. Generally good, rated 7.5 out of 10.

Very organised and complete logs since new. No hail. No corrosion. Minor damage history. N2523R started out its life in Bishop CA as a ranch plane, and then made its way to Idaho and then to Eastern Washington, so the plane has been in a dry climate since new. As you will see with the extensive documentation, she has been much loved and has been equipped with every desirable STC for backcountry flying. Over 20 years ago she sustained some wing leading edge damage and tunnel damage but the repairs were made to a very high standard. The current owner purchased 23 Romeo from a friend a few years back, and continued to invest in her, redoing the entire panel, and updating the avionics. She is a powerful plane, and demands respect, and in return will carry you safely wherever you want to go.This is a very well upgraded 182. larger tires, better instruments, spring steel gear, Sportsman STOL kit with VG's and the larger engine and three blade all make for an excellent cross country and backcountry aircraft.
