Classic silver, to represent National Steel Car Lysander 416; the first Lysander built by the company in 1939.
Mike Potter bought S/N 1206 from Harry Whereat. Harry had never flown this aircraft. He restored S/N 1206 to its RCAF tow target and liaison role. In 2010, Vintage Wings of Canada received a mandate to dissemble the aircraft; completely assess all airframe structure; repair; restore as required and re-assemble to airworthy condition.
There is only 24 complete Lysander's in the World and only 2 Flyer's. This is one of them.
